Dr John Gray is the best-selling author of ‘Men are from Mars, Women are from Venus’, and a whole host of other books on relationships. He was born in 1951 and has been married to Bonnie for a quarter of a century. ‘Men are from Mars’ has become a worldwide publishing phenomenon and has sold more copies than any other book on relationships. Spin-offs include counselling services, TV appearances on some of the top-ranking shows in the USA, and there has even been a TV series with Cybill Shepherd.
There is, apparently, some question about Dr John Gray’s academic qualifications.
More details about this topic can be found in The Naked Truth.
Some people think this is important, but in my view the proof of the pudding is in the eating. He writes knowledgeably on the subject of relationships. He demonstrates common sense, and his advice is proven to work. I have personal knowledge of more than a few relationships which were rescued and enhanced by reading and understanding his books. That is surely more important than any academic qualification.
Before he became a world-famous author John Gray was a celibate monk. He caught up with sex at a relatively late age, but didn’t do too badly, as you can tell from his 'Mars and Venus in the Bedroom'. In addition to being a highly erotic read, it taught me many of the techniques I have used in my own sex life. I can assure you from personal experience that they work!!!
It goes into great detail on how men and women differ in their sexual attitudes and responses, and is a practical guide for both sexes to get more out of sex and more out of their relationship. I cannot recommend it too highly. It isn’t just about physical needs, it recognises that much about sex relies on understanding our partner’s needs in the mental and psychological areas as well.
